Leeds University is very lucky to have one of the largest Tae Kwon-Do clubs in the country. Training sessions are devoted to students who are at Leeds University and the club is subsidised by the Students Union making the training costs very low to the student. All classes are held on campus at either the Sports Hall or Cromer Terrace Gymnasium (next to the Student Union). Classes are run by a Team of Instructors and assistant instructors. The club is run by elected student members meaning that the students’ interests are best represented at all levels.
This club has proved to be the most successful Martial Arts club at the University, with over 250 members every year, mainly due to the attitude of the instructors and students who believe that training should be fun as well as vigorous.
Training times are:-
Along with regular training, the club has an active social life. Members tend to either organise specific events such as the Martial Arts Ball or often large groups will just meet up and hit Leeds town to drink lots and have fun. So if you want to join one of the most active Sports clubs at Leeds University, come and see us. You’ll not only have fun, you’ll also learn something (and it will look good on your C.V.!)
Training fees are very low , due to the club being subsidised by the Union.
